The University of North Texas (UNT) is authorized by state law to collect instructional fees from students to help fund academic instructional expenditures directly associated with classroom activities.
Instructional fees at UNT may be collected under authority of the Incidental Fee statute (Academic Fees) or under authority of the Laboratory fee statute (Laboratory Fees). Academic and Laboratory Fees must reasonably reflect the actual costs to the University for materials, equipment, and instructional services provided.

The University of North Texas has established the Emergency Student Loan Program to assist eligible students with the payment of tuition and mandatory fees.

Employees at the University of North Texas may become indebted to the University for a variety of financial matters, including but not limited to, tuition/fees, returned checks, parking tickets, etc.  It is expected that all employees will promptly pay their debts to the University.  Employees of the University who fail to resolve and settle any indebtedness owed to the University may be subject to a state warrant hold and/or collection action.

The purpose of this policy is to provide information regarding adjustments, credits, and refunds of Student accounts at the University of North Texas.

The University of North Texas System Board of Regents sets tuition and fees for the University of North Texas (UNT). Tuition and fee information is published in the Undergraduate Course Catalog and in the Graduate Course Catalog .  All tuition and fees are subject to change by action of the Texas Legislature and/or the Board of Regents. Certain fees are subject to change by student referendum.

The University is committed to promoting development and assisting faculty and staff in pursuing higher education for themselves and their dependents.

This policy describes how UNT engages in the sales of goods and services and is committed to appropriately collecting taxes, reporting sales, and issuing receipts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

This policy sets forth the rules governing the relationship between a private donor or an organization designed to further the mission and goals of the University of North Texas (UNT) and UNT and its employees, as required by Regents Rule 09.500 and section 2255.001 of the Texas Government Code. This policy establishes the framework within which the UNT will work with affiliated organizations.

The University of North Texas (UNT) will accept, manage, invest, and distribute endowment funds in a manner that respects donors, and is in accordance with fiduciary due diligence.
