06.027 Academic Workload
Revision
This policy was reviewed as part of the standard 6-year review process. Revisions to this policy include adding a definition for faculty workload, scholarship, service, teaching, workload equity, and workload guidelines. Clarifying language related to timing for requests in exceptional circumstances was also added. The timeline for faculty complaints has been updated to 10 business days from 14 calendar days. Multiple editorial and formatting revisions were also completed.

Revision
This policy was reviewed as part of the standard 6-year review process. Revisions include changes to the policy statement and clarifying language used in the academic matters section. Multiple editorial and formatting changes were also made.

07.004 Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements for Financial Assistance
Revision
This policy was revised to reflect GPA requirement changes in relation to financial aid suspension, warning, and probation. References to the loss of eligibility appeal process now directs readers to the Satisfactory Academic Progress website. Editorial and formatting updates were made during this process.
06.010 Development Leave
Revision
This policy was reviewed as part of the standard 6-year review cycle. Revisions include adding a definition for faculty, the creation of a new classification of development leave, and the separation of the leave request process into its own separate document titled "Development Leave Request Procedure". Minor editorial changes were also made.

13.005 Conflict of Interest for Sponsored Projects
Revision
This policy was updated in response to the Department of Defense (DoD)/Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s prohibition on providing funding to or making an award of a fundamental research project proposal in which a covered individual is participating in a malign foreign talent recruitment program or to a proposing institution that does not have a policy addressing malign foreign talent programs pursuant to Section 10632 of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022.

06.006 Librarian Faculty Reappointment and Promotion
Revision
This policy was reviewed as part of the standard 6-year review process. Clarifying language was added to the Guidelines for Negative Decisions, Stop-The-Clock Extension, and Eligibility/Criteria for Promotion of Assistant Librarian sections. Various formatting and minor editorial changes were also made throughout the policy.

04.006 Responsibilities and Rights of Employees Under the UNT Compliance Program
Revision
This policy was revised as part of the 6-year review cycle. References to “Office of Institutional Compliance” and “Office of Equal Opportunity” have been changed to “University Integrity and Compliance” and “Equal Opportunity and Title IX,” respectively. Updates also include changes to policy references, job titles, and clarifying language being added to Protection Against Retaliation and Confidentiality.
