The policy was revised as part of the standard 6-year review cycle. Revisions included that third-party youth programs to state that all third parties on university property must be approved by the VP of Student Affairs or designee and all third parties must appoint a Youth Program Manager to serve as the interface between UCES, YPP, and the third party. Youth Program personnel are now required to report any arrests or convictions to the Youth Program Manager, who must then report directly to the Youth Protection Program Director. Editorial and formatting changes were implemented throughout the policy.
The policy was updated to align with procurement guidelines, added the definition of merchandise purchase, a policy responsibility campus-wide for procurement and merchandising purchases, and a policy responsibility was added for Printing and Distribution Services right of first refusal, with a note on external vendors. The policy name was changed from Printing Services and Copy Centers (previously) to Printing Services and Merchandise Purchases, to reflect this addition.
