10.006 Cash Handling Controls
Revised to address the items highlighted by the University-wide cash handling management review. This revision provides definition for demand deposits, language requiring documentation of cash handling authorizations, separation of duties, requirement of when deposits must be made to align with other cash related policies, and a cash handling template. Effective 10/11/2016.

05.065 Developmental Leave
The policy is only two sentences long, stating that some “staff” are eligible for “developmental leaves” and to see UNT Policy 06.010, Faculty Development Leave for further information. However, no “staff” are currently eligible for developmental leave. The policy was originally written for librarians, who are now classified as faculty, not staff. Effective 09/30/2016.

2.5.6 Interagency Contracts
The policy content regarding signature authority and responsibility for contracts is duplicative of language addressed by Regents Rule 03.900. Remaining content is strictly procedural and these procedures are sufficiently outlined in BSC’s Procurement Guide, sections 1.3 and 1.7. Effective 09/15/2016.

05.002 CARE Team
New UNT Policy 05.002 "CARE Team" has been created in order to provide a systemic response to individuals who may be in crisis or whose mental, emotional, or psychological health condition may directly threaten the safety of the University environment. Effective 08/15/2016.
18.1.13 Disruptive Activities State Law
Persons engaged in certain disruptive activities on the university campus shall be subject to prosecution and/or other penalties provided in section 37.123 Texas Education Code; UNT Policy 07.012, Code of Student Conduct; and applicable federal, state, and local laws. This policy is therefore redundant and unnecessary. Effective 08/15/2016.
