The University of North Texas recognizes the right of any group of students to form a voluntary organization for purposes not forbidden by the laws of the United States or the State of Texas. The university supports and encourages a wide variety of such organizations, believing that they make a positive contribution both to the university and to the individual students who choose to participate.
